Remember when I said I would update you all on my sanity at the end of the semester? Well, for starters, I’m still sane. I think. So that’s a plus.
Being in your last semester of undergrad has its perks, but I might say this has been one of the hardest yet happiest times in my life. A lot of change for me is happening and sometimes feels a bit hard to process. However, I am so excited to graduate and continue my education onto something I am truly passionate for.
I kind of hyped this post up on social media, so someone give me a drum roll…….
(im laughing at everyone who thought about doing it)
So the tea* is… This past summer, with a little research, I found a dream graduate program at Rutgers University in Jersey City, New Jersey – a Masters in Science of the Business of Fashion. After much discussion, research, and a lot of hard work, I was accepted into this program to attend in Spring of 2019!!! To say I am excited would be an understatement. I never imagined I would even be considered, but I like to think everything happens for a reason. 😉
Being accepted was just the beginning of a strenuous process. From there, I had to figure out a living situation, schedule classes, continue my classes here, and everything in between. It’s been a challenge, but for once in my life, I feel as if everything might be falling into place.
Of course I’ll miss my friends and family dearly, but hopefully they will be nice enough to come visit. For now, I want to stop and smell all the roses and enjoy every bit of Monroe I have left.
Ultimately, all my glory goes to God for getting me through this process. ❤
