Hello World! Well, hello to the few friends that might actually be reading this.

Anyways, I made this New Year’s resolution to start a blog. I have always wanted to start a blog, but I would of never had the courage one until a few kind words from a professor gave me the confidence to actually do it.

With this being my very first blog, I figured I would write a little bit about myself in case there are actually a few people reading that might not already know me. I currently attend the University of Louisiana – Monroe, better known as ULM. I am a senior marketing major with hopes of graduating in December of 2018. My entire life clothes, accessories, and especially shoes have always fascinated me. I will never forget the journal I had in the third grade that contained countless sketches of my outfit designs. My 8-year-old self was determined to be a fashion designer (my elementary friends can definitely account to this). As I get closer to graduation, I begin to think more and more about my career, and I am forever hopeful for any sort of fashion opportunity. I might not ever be a fashion designer, but I figured it was time to have the courage to start something I have always wanted to do.

All winter break, I have contemplated how I would actually do this, and let me tell you, it isn’t exactly the easiest task I have done. I began thinking I would only blog about fashion, but then I thought about how I am a college student who works two part-time jobs and manages to still have somewhat of a social life. So then I thought…Why not blog about anything and everything that fascinates me (and hopefully you too). So this is me – Rachel Dolecheck trying to accomplish something I never thought I could. I hope I kept your interest till the end, and I truly hope you follow along with my blogging voyage!
